Year 2 Homeschool Spanish
Course Description
Continue your language learning adventure with our second year Spanish course for homeschoolers.
Students will learn to express themselves more fully with new and exciting personalized & standard topics and creative conversational assignments.
Our lively and engaging online classes meet for one hour per week with 1.5 hours of self-paced assignments between classes.
Lessons are expertly designed to meet the needs of today’s students and use proven and engaging comprehensible input methods that result in faster proficiency than solely traditional grammar based methods.
All materials are included in the cost of the course, so there are no additional textbook or resource fees.

With a focus on practical communication skills and meaningful cultural insights, our students learn to express themselves more fully in everyday situations, understand and respond to more advanced Spanish conversations, and continue to add richness and detail to the stories they create.
Your teen’s instructor is committed to supporting students every step of the way, providing personalized feedback and guidance to help them achieve their learning goals.
In order to fully support each student, the following is required:
A fully functioning laptop or desktop with camera, speakers, and reliable high speed WiFi
A Google account with access to YouTube & other educational websites
The ability to contribute to a positive classroom environment (participating actively and respectfully, having camera on, completing assignments on time)
Computer skills: typing, navigating the web, using Zoom & Google Classroom
By the end of the course, students gain a love for the Spanish language and culture and reach an intermediate level of Spanish proficiency.
Class Schedule
Meeting Time: Thursdays from 11 AM to noon
Start Date: September 14th, 2023
End Date: May 16th, 2024 (Please save two additional Thursdays (May 23rd & 30th) in the event of having to postpone classes)
No Classes on: November 23rd, November 30th, December 21, December 28, March 28st, April 4
